The short version: I collect only what you send me, I use it to talk with you about your business, and I never sell it.
Who I am
This website is run by AG Beaver LLC (“AG Beaver,” “I,” “me”), a fractional CMO and marketing consulting business owned by Amanda Beaver. If you have a question about this policy or your information, email amanda@agbeaverllc.com.
What I collect
What you give me. When you fill out the contact form, I receive your name, email, business name, website (if you add it), who handles your marketing, and anything you write in the message box. The form runs on Gravity Forms, a plugin on my website, so your submission is saved in my website’s database and sent to my email. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in that email.
What your browser sends automatically. Like nearly every website, the servers that host and deliver this site may log basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of your visit. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Analytics and advertising tools. I may use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta to understand how people find and use the site and to measure whether my own marketing is working. These tools may set cookies or use similar technology to collect information about your visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.
Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, which is sent to Google and covered by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
How I use it
- To reply to you and set up a conversation about your business
- To prepare for and deliver work if we decide to work together
- To keep the website working, secure and free of spam
- To understand which of my own marketing efforts bring people to the site
- To meet legal, tax or accounting requirements
I won’t add you to a newsletter or mailing list unless you ask to be added.
Who I share it with
I don’t sell or rent your personal information, and I don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing. I only share it with:
- Service providers that help me run the business, such as website hosting, form delivery, email, scheduling, CRM and accounting tools. They can use your information only to provide their service to me.
- Professional advisors such as an accountant or attorney, when needed.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of AG Beaver, my clients or others.
- A successor if the business is ever sold or reorganized, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Client data
If you become a client, I may get access to your ad accounts, analytics, CRM or other business systems. That access and any customer data inside those systems is covered by our written agreement and is used only to do the work you hired me for. I don’t use one client’s data for another client.
How long I keep it
I keep contact form entries and email as long as they’re useful for our conversation or working relationship, and longer only when records are needed for legal, tax or accounting reasons. I periodically clear out old form entries from my website.
You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I have about you, or ask me to stop contacting you. Just email amanda@agbeaverllc.com and I’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, your state’s privacy law may give you additional rights, and I’ll honor those requests too. I won’t treat you differently for asking.
Security
I use reasonable safeguards, like secure connections and accounts protected with strong passwords and two-factor sign-in, to protect your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords, payment card numbers or other highly sensitive details through the contact form.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent me information, let me know and I’ll delete it.
Other websites
Links to other sites, like LinkedIn, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your information, I’ll update this page and the effective date at the top.
